CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY
This Cancellation & Refund Policy applies to all bookings, tour packages, hotel reservations, transportation arrangements, customized travel services, land packages, sightseeing services, and related services offered by TRIPORA JOURNEYS PRIVATE LIMITED ("Tripora Journeys", "Triporaj", "Company", "we", "our", or "us").
By making any payment, confirming any itinerary, or using our services, the customer confirms that they have read, understood, and accepted this Cancellation & Refund Policy in full.
Important Notice: This policy is designed to clearly define refund eligibility, cancellation charges, non-refundable situations, digital consent, vendor commitments, evidence retention, and payment dispute handling for all Tripora Journeys bookings.
1. Booking Confirmation
A booking shall be considered confirmed only after receipt of the required advance payment or full payment as communicated by Tripora Journeys.
Upon confirmation, Tripora Journeys may immediately reserve hotel inventory, transportation services, sightseeing activities, permits, local vendor services, destination partner services, and operational resources on behalf of the customer.
Customers must carefully review package details, inclusions, exclusions, pricing, cancellation terms, travel dates, hotel category, transport arrangements, and all other booking conditions before making payment.
Once payment is made, it shall be treated as acceptance of this Cancellation & Refund Policy, Terms & Conditions, package inclusions and exclusions, and all booking-related communications.
2. Customer Cancellation Policy
All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing through official communication channels including Email or WhatsApp. Verbal cancellation requests shall not be treated as valid cancellation requests.
The date and time on which the cancellation request is received by Tripora Journeys shall be considered the official cancellation date.
30 Days or More 25% of Total Package Cost
15 to 29 Days 50% of Total Package Cost
8 to 14 Days 75% of Total Package Cost
0 to 7 Days 100% Non-Refundable
3. Travel Date Change Policy
Any request for modification of travel dates shall be treated as a cancellation and rebooking request. Applicable cancellation charges and revised package pricing may apply.
Such changes may be subject to hotel availability, transportation availability, vendor rebooking charges, seasonal rate differences, and operational feasibility. Tripora Journeys does not guarantee availability for revised travel dates.
4. Non-Refundable Bookings
The following bookings may become partially or fully non-refundable immediately upon confirmation:
• Customized Tour Packages
• Peak Season Bookings
• Festival & Holiday Packages
• Promotional or Discounted Packages
• Honeymoon Packages
• Event-Based Tours
• Group Departures
• Last-Minute Bookings
• Blocked Hotel Inventory
• Special Vendor Arrangements
• Services already confirmed with hotels, transport providers, activity operators, local vendors, or destination partners
Once reservations or vendor commitments are made, refunds may no longer be available regardless of whether the customer utilizes the services.
No Refund After Vendor Confirmation: Once any hotel, transportation service, sightseeing activity, permit, local vendor service, destination partner service, or package component has been confirmed by Tripora Journeys or its suppliers, such amount may become partially or fully non-refundable irrespective of whether the customer utilizes the service.
5. No Refund Conditions
No refund, adjustment, compensation, or credit note shall be provided under the following circumstances:
• No-show by customer
• Delayed arrival
• Early departure
• Unused hotel nights
• Unused sightseeing services
• Unused transportation services
• Missed activities
• Voluntary tour abandonment
• Personal schedule changes
• Change of mind
• Family emergency or medical issue not covered by insurance
• Dissatisfaction unrelated to service delivery
• Any circumstance within the customer’s control
6. Refund Processing
Any eligible refund approved by Tripora Journeys shall be processed within 7-14 business days from the date of approval. Refund timelines may vary depending on banking systems, payment gateway timelines, vendor settlement schedules, government holidays, and financial institution policies.
Tripora Journeys shall not be responsible for delays caused by banks, payment gateways, or other third-party financial institutions.
Refunds, wherever applicable, shall generally be processed to the original payment method or bank account used for the booking, subject to payment gateway and banking rules.
7. Applicable Deductions
Before processing any eligible refund, Tripora Journeys reserves the right to deduct the following charges:
• Payment Gateway Charges
• Bank Charges
• UPI Processing Charges
• Transaction Fees
• Administrative Fees
• Vendor Cancellation Charges
• Hotel Retention Charges
• Transportation Retention Charges
• Operational Costs
• Service Charges
• GST and Applicable Taxes
The final refundable amount shall be determined by Tripora Journeys after considering all applicable deductions and supplier policies.
8. Vendor & Third-Party Policies
Tripora Journeys acts as an intermediary between customers and third-party suppliers including hotels, transport operators, activity providers, local vendors, and destination partners.
Refunds remain subject to cancellation terms imposed by such suppliers. Tripora Journeys shall not be obligated to refund amounts that have already been paid, retained, blocked, charged, or deducted by vendors.
9. Operational Changes & Force Majeure
Tripora Journeys reserves the right to modify hotels, transportation providers, sightseeing activities, routes, timings, or package inclusions due to weather conditions, natural disasters, political disturbances, road closures, local restrictions, safety concerns, vendor issues, force majeure events, or operational requirements.
Such modifications shall not automatically qualify for refunds, compensation, or chargebacks. Reasonable alternatives may be arranged wherever operationally possible.
10. Digital Acceptance & Customer Consent
By making payment, customers expressly acknowledge and agree that they have read and accepted this Cancellation & Refund Policy and authorize Tripora Journeys to make travel arrangements on their behalf.
The following shall constitute valid and legally binding proof of customer consent:
• Website checkbox acceptance
• Payment gateway records
• Invoices
• WhatsApp messages
• Email communications
• OTP verification records
• Digital signatures
• Electronic booking confirmations
• Communication logs
11. Chargeback & Payment Dispute Policy
Customers agree not to initiate false, fraudulent, unjustified, or bad-faith chargebacks, payment reversals, or disputes after booking confirmation, vendor reservation, or service delivery.
Before initiating any payment dispute, customers must first contact Tripora Journeys and provide a reasonable opportunity to resolve the matter.
In the event of any chargeback or payment dispute, Tripora Journeys reserves the right to contest and legally defend the dispute, submit evidence to banks and payment gateways, and recover financial losses, penalties, legal expenses, collection costs, and administrative charges from the customer.
Chargeback Recovery Clause: In the event of a wrongful, fraudulent, or unsuccessful chargeback claim initiated by the customer, Tripora Journeys reserves the right to recover all chargeback penalties, bank fees, payment gateway fees, legal expenses, collection costs, administrative charges, and investigation costs incurred in defending such claim.
12. Evidence & Record Retention
Customers acknowledge and agree that the following records may be used as evidence in dispute resolution, chargeback defense, fraud investigations, and legal proceedings:
• Booking confirmations
• Invoices
• Payment records
• Bank transaction details
• WhatsApp chats
• Email communications
• Customer identification documents
• Website logs
• Supplier confirmations
• Hotel vouchers
• Transportation vouchers
Such records shall constitute valid evidence of customer authorization, booking confirmation, vendor commitment, and service fulfillment.
13. Fraud Prevention
Tripora Journeys reserves the right to verify customer identity before confirmation. The Company may reject, suspend, or cancel any booking suspected of fraud, unauthorized payment activity, identity misuse, or chargeback abuse.
Tripora Journeys may share relevant information with payment gateways, banks, legal authorities, and fraud prevention agencies where legally permitted or required.
14. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
This Cancellation & Refund Policy shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of India.
Any dispute arising from bookings, payments, cancellations, refunds, chargebacks, or use of services shall be subject exclusively to the jurisdiction of competent courts located in Aravalli District, Gujarat, India.
